ALLURION BALLOON
How it works
The balloon is packaged into a capsule that is easily swallowed by the patient during a 20-minute visit. 99.9% of the patients can swallow it.1
The Allurion Balloon is made of polyurethane and crafted to adapt to the shape of the patient's stomach. It is filled with 550ml of liquid.
After approximately 16 weeks, the Allurion Balloon's release valve automatically opens, allowing the balloon to empty and pass naturally.**

The Allurion Balloon is a liquid-filled gastric balloon placed without endoscopy or anesthesia during a 20-minute outpatient visit.1,4 It empties itself after approximately 16 weeks and is eliminated naturally**.
